  • Direct assistance in dealing with the second hand dealers act of South Africa.
  • Opportunity to exhibit at the SA’s premier fine art, design and antiques events either monthly or annual.
  • NAADA represents the interests of our members to national and international fair organisers.
  • Commits to promote your business via our annual list of members and NAADA website and in the Collector Magazine

NAADA members contribute to the education of future generations of restorers and conservators by promoting their services within the trade.

Description and Benefits of the three different memberships which are available:

Silver Option

  1. 20 bags in mixed sizes, no charge. If a member needs more bags,they can buy them from the Association.
  2. 1 x invoice book, no charge. Member can buy more invoice books if required
  3. Free listing on the Naada website under the province directory.
  4. Fully paid up Naada members complying with the Second-Hand Dealers Act of South Africa, are given first opportunity to participate in any of the Collectable Fair CC group of fairs and will be charged the Naada member participation fee
  5. Membership certificate
  6. Use of the ‘Naada’logo and ‘Antiques are green’logo for member’s business website and business cards.
  7. Naada members will benefit from the exemptions once passed under the Second-Hand Dealers Act. Naada will inform all its members when the exemptions are passed and made into law

Gold option

  1. 50 bags in mixed sizes, no charge. If a member needs more bags, they can buy them from the Association.
  2. 2 x invoice books, no charge. Members can buy more invoice books if required.
  3. Free listing on the Naada website under the province directory.
  4. Fully paid-up Naada members complying with the Second-Hand Dealers Act of South Africa, are given the first opportunity to participate in any of the Collectable Fair CC group of fairs and will be charged the Naada member participation fee
  5. Membership certificate
  6. Use of the ‘Naada’logo and ‘Antiques are green logos for member’s business websites and business cards.
  7. Half banner  advertisement on  the Naada website
  8. Naada members will benefit from the exemptions once passed under the Second-Hand Dealers Act. Naada will inform all its members when the exemptions are passed and made into law.

Platinum option

  1. 100 bags in mixed sizes, no charge. If a member needs more bags, they can buy them from the Association. In the case of out-of-town members, the bags will be couriered at the member’s cost.
  2. 2 x invoice books, at no charge. Members can buy more invoice books if required.
  3. Free listing on the Naada website under the province listing.
  4. Fully paid-up Naada members complying with the Second-Hand Dealers Act of South Africa, are given the first opportunity to participate in any of the Collectable Fair CC group of fairs and will be charged the Naada member participation fee
  5. Membership certificate
  6. Use of the ‘Naada’logo and ‘Antiques are green logos for member’s business websites and business cards.
  7. Full banner  advertisement on the Naada website

  9. Platinum members have the option to advertise at a fee in any of the Naada email newsletters.

 

Please note that the main objective of the Association is to provide protection to all our members under the Second-hand Dealer’s act and to secure benefits in terms of exemptions when passed. The Association has been in constant talks and meetings with the police trying to get exemptions for our dealers and allowing everyone to do business with ease. The Association will assist you with any issues you may have with the act, however, it is up to each member to make sure they understand the act and are compliant with the act. Members are invited to supply stories related to their genre to be added to the website. The story must be original and be supplied with high-resolution images of the item/items.
